St Christopher Street Parade in Berlin .....

St Christopher Street Parade . This is an annual event for the gay and lesbian community . (I have to add that in Berlin they are in a majority)
Being heterosexual = minority ! Living as long as I have in this city I can safely say that. Crossing the street to get to Ka De We was a struggle, yet in so doing I managed a few pictures.Here they are. Two characters were attired as spider man ( or were they spider women )? Hard to say . A photo was impossible as they began to fall out and Spider A ) stormed off with Spider B) in hot pursuit . Tarantula Tantrums no doubt . The music was great , the colourful floats and costumes terrific .The weather ....there was heat / monsoon type rain / then more of the same.

All is revealed !

Here you have the answer to the 'mystery of my black box'. (see June 13th) Lucky was closest with that second guess of jewellery .
It's a beautiful chain belt which has three Chanel logo. Marvellous to wear as a necklace ,whilst as a belt it looks very chic.As a bracelet over long black gloves it's stunning and you don't need me to tell you the many other very 'creative 'uses this Chanel chain belt has.
As the saying goes .. " Less is more ".

Nothing Compares .

Now you see I was telling the truth in my blog of the 7th June . Unlike the Copenhagen Mermaid , spectacular I am not ! Yet the Olympic Pool is .
As usual,early morning found me in lane 8 --PARADISE. Afterwards,a coffee. Then a great chat with a fellow swimmer . What began with a few words over crosswords ( the printed variety ) led to a discussion on all sorts which beat any TV debate . I have him to thank for the tracksuit picture . The blurred head shot , a friend took and the pool shot I did .
The huge structure you can see behind the diving platforms is the stadium used last year for the World Cup....ah ,fabulous memories.
Now I'm off to fix my hair . This tousled, drowned rat image is just not me.

You can go into the stadium and yes,it's worth it .Much overlooked ,this truly is a 'must see' in Berlin.

The Black Box .

As you can see this is not the variety associated with aeroplanes .
It's a delightful package from Chanel and contains something truly sensational.

you can wear in many ways . ( no it isn't perfume )
In a few days I may well model this and post the photos ...Any ideas what exactly rests within Miss Vixen's black box ?

A chance for Cheri to make good !

I read that the Church of England is engaged in a row with Sony .
This giant cooperation has made yet another violent pc game, (hey what happened to the promised controls? )- and have used images of the interior of Manchester Cathedral .
This is not only a liberty , it's disrespectful and tasteless. Imagine the scenario had they involved a well know Mosque, Islamic Shrine or Synagogue.We'd have Tony bleating and Cheri all set for court at tax payers expense . Not to mention riots in the streets.
Miss Vixen says,OK Cheri here's a chance to do something .Represent the Church of England in court. So you're RC ,but your husband isn't. Do something for the country which has allowed you to live like a royal.............
Somehow though ,I don't envisage this happening . What's that you say ?

Summer in The City .

One simple pleasure of summer in Berlin is an abundance of wild flowers.
There is no use of pesticides and here is the result .Along many main roads one sees banks of colour. The aroma is sensational and to stand awhile and watch the insect life busy with their work is fascinating .

Berlin's Foxy Mermaid .

As you know , furs have been shed and are away for the summer. It's already quite hot and humid here.
In order to make the most of it I've resorted to being a foxy mermaid. Not too difficult given all the pools and lakes in this city . Also the Olympic Stadium open air pool is very near. So each Monday ,Wednesday and Friday finds me there doing my thing for at least an hour. The water is at least 24°c and swimming backstroke to and fro is anything but boring . I took some pictures yesterday,(here is one ). Maybe later I'll add one of the Berlin Mermaid .Not quite as spectacular as the Copenhagen original and --- What ,you may ask do her and I have in common
Answer:- a)water but b) most of all we are both rather accident prone . Put simply :-
Things happen to us ....yet c) we always survive.

G8 --NOT GREAT.

No Way To Behave !





As I expected , the usual group of 'two legged cockroaches ' emerged to turn a peaceful demo into a battle ground ! These cowards, ( who hide behind masks ) make me sick . There is no knowing who they are and what exactly they seek to achieve .
I was asked to go but declined . Much as I am anti G8, I am against violence .
My first wish for the G8 is that instead of the members behaving like pseudo monarchy, demanding the finest ( at our expense ), they were made to have each meeting on a Military base . Imagine , they could eat with soldiers , stay in soldier's quarters and get on with the job. No need then for all the extra police since as we all know ,military bases are extremely secure . If such is good enough for service personnel, I'm positive it's sufficient for Blair and co .

The Story so far ..

I did call Mr Allen at Bond ( please see former entry ) The conversation was somewhat absurd .
He denied having said no to the sculpture . Added he believed this was a publicity stunt by Mr Galschiot and that the Poverty Action day was to be fun in the park ...
I said great to 'fun' ,but stimulating awareness is not a thing to exclude and , was I to understand therefore that I , or indeed himself should call Denmark and say :- "Hey big misunderstanding come and join us in our fight against poverty and injustice ".Oh reader how swiftly his storyline changed :-
A committee , a working party had said it wasn't appropriate etc, etc, etc . Reader ,I let this man ramble on then know my feelings .Maybe you too will take the time out to email yours
Since that call the sculptor has emailed Bond several times . Also members of the committee . Response nil. However, with or without London ,this breathtaking piece of work will continue to make a dignified statement .One which cannot be ignored.

This 'Bond' Is NOT 007 or ....?..

Please take the time to read these links .
You will see that the rhetoric of the Bond site does not match their judgement . They claim to be demanding action against poverty and state the world cannot wait .Yet at the same time they have banned the participation of this sculpture in a rally planned for 2nd June in London . Their reason ? It may upset some Christian groups !
How sensitive are these lost souls . How pretentious . HIV aids for teenage girls ( as the norm), is not the daily horror in UK that it is in Africa . Oh no, there in UK ,for the righteous there is unbiased sex education,, free birth control pill, ,condoms of good quality and, when needed HIV medication. Then,last but not least , abortion on the NHS , free of charge.
I would remind the group Bond and their 'christian dogma co-workers' that poverty is not merely monetary .There is poverty of mind, vision and freedom ... and they seem cursed by such .
As usual, the Danish artist Mr Galschiot was making a contribution funded by himself . His message is worth a million empty words . Just as crucifixion is a terrible, painful ,slow death ... so is HIV aids and for the powers that be to expect innocent unborn children to be burdened by such is more like the work of a devil !
Bond ,as in 007 fame was 'licenced to kill' ...All who ignore the need for sexual education and use of good quality condoms do likewise , but minus a licence .

Miss Vixen's Summer Den .

Below is my 'summer den' for those very hot nights.
To lie in this swing ( as nature intended), is a delight since it gives a sense of freedom .
In Berlin, hot days tend to bring massive thunderstorms ,after which the air smells ultra fresh and through the foliage of huge trees which surround my balcony the night sky can be glimpsed. For yours truly this is the city version of Paradise.
Here I am today as my friends arrived , ready for yet another day of action. Not to mention feeling terrific after great sleep.
If you can try this sleep mode ,do so ! Now,as the thunder starts once more and an electric storm plays out ... guess where I am heading ?

Carnival of Culture 2007.

Today we went to the Carnival of Culture and , in sweltering heat, walked miles enjoying that which the Germans do well --- street festivals .This annual, four day event is always fun.There's food and drink from all lands , music ,dance, clothing. You name it , it's to be found. Even politics (See 2nd row 2nd from left.)A petition by Amnesty .This was duly signed .However,on the drinks front, Nigerian Guinness failed to tempt.
As you can see Lisa was in her element trying outfits on . Nothing was 'Miss Vixen mode',(2nd row 3rd from left proves my point) The closest Ms V came was a leather mask ! Rather spooky if somewhat kinky .The little wooden tortoise were a gift from a stall holder. All in all,we had a great time . From there to a super restaurant , just missing being caught in the mother of all storms .

No it's not another sex shop ! This is taken outside Berlin's most exclusive store , Ka De We.
They currently have window displays of the most exotic lingerie .
So here you see my friend Lisa and I, 'doing our bit ' . It made a few Germans smile, or maybe that was due to my comments .

Every Time We Say Goodbye.

No words needed,save to say...there's no finer fashion passion for yours truly .
"Fur better, fur worse, fur richer, fur poorer." Yes when it comes to such, here is one lady who will be singing the famous Ella Fitzgerald number this time next week as she bids these coats goodbye for the summer........
Note how the sun was really shining as these pictures were taken , but I can report feeling wonderful .

No Furs, but Lovely Boots .

The temperature is really high so,it is with a heavy heart that I have to report the looming departure date for my coats and summer storage .(Next week to be exact.) Also ---my little fur jacket is to be remodelled !
However, there are still boots and these shown here were ideal for a summer night out on the terrace last night . Just minutes before this photo was taken I received a call from a friend who left Berlin three years ago . She is back until the 6th of June ... so watch out . We are going to be having some party !!!

Miss Vixen Predicts .......

It is a truth universally acknowledged that those born on 10th July and in a Cinema, are given magical insights. My rather out of the ordinary 'entry' , due to a comedy ( it caused my mother to laugh too much ) seems to have also given me a talent to spot the unpleasant. The latest of which being .. who else but Blair .
Reader, much as I would love to think that in a few weeks we will hear no more of this specimen , my powers tell me that even worse is to come .
Question 1/ Why is Blair waiting until the end of June ?
Question 2/ Why did Blair have a 1 to 1 meeting with that most unfeminine of women Angela Merkel?
Question 3/ Why did Blair suddenly refuse the British public a promised referendum on the European Constitution ?
Quite simply I believe a deal has been done between Merkel and Blair . In her revamped version there is a place for a permanent President .
You don't actually need to be Einstein or gifted with insight to fathom the rest .
Blair may at last be stepping down from his ghastly control of UK ,only to resume an even mightier dictatorship in Brussels .All expenses paid and no taxes .

Blair's latest scandal -a 'Major' omission.

All looks set for a new era for Ireland and today could stand as an example to many countries troubled with not only religious differences but divided territory .
One blot is to tarnish this otherwise perfect moment ...... BLAIR !
Feeble example of a politician that he is and gifted merely with a mighty ego , Blair is determined to leave office with a decent legacy. So much so ,that he is bent on taking all the credit for Ireland .... to the extent that John Major, ( former British Prime Minister) has not been invited .
John Major is the person responsible for initiating the peace with the Good Friday Agreement.Without his work Blair would never have 'inherited .' Indeed he would be leaving number 10 remembered only for his lies, Iraq , scandals involving favours and criminals . His domestic record within UK is poor and all his fine words have proved to be just that HOT AIR .
Major to Minor , never did these words have such significance . Could this be why Blair has excluded Major . Major was a 'major' player and did it all with a quiet dignity .
We can but hope that this latest scandal of Blair's is the last . His own party want him out , the public want him out . Now all that remains is for him to go and remember , those of us with brains and a memory know the truth . Something he himself is not well acquainted with .

You don't have to read the global warming stories to know it's been a very mild winter . Warm weather has been with us for weeks.

Wonderful for some but not so for fur lovers ! However the ever versatile and fashion conscious Miss V has been adding to her appearance by wearing what can best be described as a traffic stopper ! Not mink or fox . Nothing very expensive .. but oh so tasteful ....

Gloves...... yes sexy , gloves . Some long, some short . Some lacy some velvety . She has the lot and the reaction has been astonishing .

Her hand has been taken and kissed by complete strangers ! Positively Jane Austenish . In restaurants and shops, compliments have been passed to such an extent as to make her write this piece .

In an age where 'baring all 'is the norm it would appear that many yearn for the magic of mystery .

Above we see Ms Vixen in red ( most apt ) with boots , shawl and gloves to compliment .

She suggests all ladies try this simple but effective fashion tip and adds :-" Remember , beautiful gifts are always perfectly wrapped ."

Helena Mikas knows good food and good sex !

In Sex and the City , Carrie Bradshaw , we are told ,'knows good sex.'
Well she isn't alone ! Take me for example . As well as being secretary to Miss Vixen(Berlin's Very Foxy Lady),I do find time for a rather varied and colourful life and from time to time enjoy passing on excellent tips re Berlin to all who visit this blog .
Now Ms V and I are of the opinion that good sex plus good food , go together ! In as much as one puts you in the mood for the other ....

A favourite eating place is as follows :-

"Da Nardino" . This is a terrific spot offering Italian specialties at Kantstraße 36 , 10625 Charlottenburg. Bus X 34, M49 , M101 , SBahn Station Savigny Platz , UBahn Wilmersdorf ,
telephone 312 8025 . They also offer a marvellous party service .
Each day the selection of dishes leaves one in a quandary as to what to choose . meat , fish , veggie food and pasta dishes all cooked from fresh ingredients . AND ::::::::::: WAIT FOR IT !
Served in a none smoking environment . Prices begin at 5 euro ! The wine is great and as for the olive bread .. yummy .

Da Nadino staff are the tops . This is a must visit place for any one coming to Berlin.

The down side is they only serve from lunch to 6pm . But the good news is that should you be planning an intimate dinner, you can select ... they will pack and then all you have to do is pamper yourself ......set the scene and serve the food . Mouth watering on all fronts , so to speak !

As I said,Carrie Bradshaw may know good sex , but Helena Mikas also knows good food .

Message for Tony Blair

Yes this is yours truly, Miss Vixen, over four years ago holding a rather simple message . Sentiments shared by many , now virtually all. Yet still this man clings to power ensuring his tainted values touch as much as possible .

Now it seems more than likely his aids are to be charged with corrupt dealings . Oh who needs outside regimes with this mob ?

Plus he has broken his word on a referendum ( hardly surprising ) regarding the EU constitution a British public do not want .

This on top of selling UK out to USA by allowing Trident missiles to be stationed on our soil . Oh was ever Britain so cursed ?

To justify his latest dirt , Bliar , ( yes best name for him ) says he had to risk being accused of "selling out "as like all British Premiers he had to choose between being guilty of isolationist policies or treason . Why ... his isolationist stance against Europe when going along with a Pack of Lies Bush never worried him .

Like a typical dictator he ignores the wishes and views of the public . I ask you all to be so good as to drop him a line saying .

" Good bye Tony , goodbye Tony , goodbye Tony it's time for you to go ! "

Out of India .

So they're rioting in India due to a kiss on the cheek and a hug by two film stars !
Yet another example of the male controlled nature of religion and politics .Curtail that which is pleasant and human by denouncing as taboo whilst ignoring pain ,suffering and squalor .
When last in India and in New Delhi I was sickened by the sight of men urinating in the streets . The stench from this was hardly Chanel. Early each morning workers would walk along throwing handfuls of chlorine to disinfect .. Seemingly acceptable . Then the countless families living and sleeping on the road sides .. another norm . Also the horror of countless limbless babies made so to render them more of a money raiser by their own mothers .These infants are then doped with powerful sleeping potions .Yes , you have guessed , this too is acceptable .
No riots though over such ghastly sights and practices . No quibbling over culture.
I am all for respecting culture but fail to see what crime Gere and Shetty have committed .
The event these two stars were at was to raise awareness of HIV /Aids among Indian truck drivers .. Seems those 'men of impeccable morals', ie) the Hindu Nationalists are not interested in discussing the reason for the rates of disease. Is this because truck drivers are male or is it yet another case of 'looking the other way '.
We are in 2007 . It is not perfect but while there are those who only live in the past our present is on' pause ' and therefore any future is far from perfect .

Oh how very true .Yesterday I read that the US thinks Iran may be helping Iraqis build bombs . If it weren't so terrible in terms of human life ,I could laugh . However this is not only shocking it is another example of blatant hypocrisy . Reader do try and get a copy of John Simpson's book :- 'Lifting the Veil . Life in Revolutionary Iran.' Written in 1995 it tells of how America not only encouraged the Iran / Iraq war but, made it possible for Saddam Hussein ( the then blue eyed boy ) to have spy satellite information . The result .. countless dead and eight years of hell. Along with UK they provided all the weapons Saddam needed and of course made a very nice profit . You may think I am crazy saying this .. WAR on TERROR a GREAT BIG ERROR !

Furthermore it states that such an approach, particularly the 2003 invasion of Iraq, had,actually increased the likelihood of terror attacks .
The study also found the British government's plans to upgrade the submarine-based Trident nuclear deterrent could produce international instability.

Poverty, an enemy worth fighting .

Yet again a bus stop picture .
For none German speakers it is an ad based on the "eeny, meeny, miney mo" rhyme.
The idea is to conjure up an image of children with their counting selection chant.
Only here they say "ene mene muh" followed by , ( I translate ) "POOR ARE YOU."
We are then informed that every 5th child in Berlin and Brandenburg lives in Poverty.
The European Union definition of such is .. at best ridiculous. When all are fed , have a roof , free schooling and access to full medical care (also free) then I take issue .

One sees the most amazing things at Berlin bus stops and also meet some fascinating characters .
Today of all days,at the bus stop in Theodor Heuss Platz ,who should come along but ... The Easter Rabbit ! As you will see he was was giving out eggs and invites .
A very Happy Easter to you all no matter where you are .
The world is still at war but there is always hope . It comes through dialogue , tolerance and each one doing their bit to build bridges NOT destroy .

America go sh - t in your own backyard !

Most readers know that Miss Vixen is no fan of US politics,
To her they give off a smell as putrid as dog dirt and are equally as unpleasant .
The average citizen of America appears oblivious to the filth and risk to others. They merely wonder as to why they are not very popular around the world.
Miss V likens them to dog owners. You know the sort. Take the mutt out anywhere to foul . Yes anywhere that is,save their own backyard. Hey and don't even bother cleaning up after.
USA is siting missiles and shields where ever it can. Not at home though. Ask yourself do you see them letting say UK or China build bases in their country!
They have a naval air fleet of massive size in the Persian Gulf .Purely as a means of pressure on Iran .Now they are asking Turkey to further open up Incirlik airbase so they can expand and target Iran from there .
Yes their nasty defecation's are just about everywhere. What is needed is a giant pooper scooper to gather them up and dump the lot back where they belong .In the US.
This week ,Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinedschad has released the fifteen British Naval personnel .
Good will gesture or a stunt who cares .As Miss Vixen says ,we have yet to see the US release the Iranians kidnapped by them ,not to mention countless others .
Today Berlin's Very Foxy Lady told me about having had the misfortune to speak with a US service man recently. Not only did he not know what a pacifist is ,he informed her that he saw his duty simply as monthly pay cheque therefore asked no questions and followed orders .
Her reply was in true foxy fashion as she told him that as like as not Nazi soldiers and hired killers felt the same.
Bush is now trying to play the "oh if we leave Iraq there will be ethnic cleansing "

No Show Without Punch !

Here he is again . America's answer to Mr Punch .
For those not familiar Punch is a nasty aggressive puppet who enjoys beating just about everyone up .
As a child I loathed the violence of Mr Punch . As an adult ..Mr Bush
The worlds number one liar has stated that Iran's detention of 15 British sailors was "inexcusable ". He has gone on to say that the government in Tehran must release them immediately .
Hey Bush - not all see you as God , even if you believe you are.
You had your troops take Iranian diplomats hostage .This from their offices and we all know such places are classified as out of bounds .
You also turn a blind eye to torture and illegal detention carried out by US military. You created a war on false charges . Yes thanks to you, America has broken every rule of the Geneva Convention.
The correct position of the British Ship has yet to be known . For sure I don't look to you or your 'poodle' for TRUTH .As two who deal in lies why should we believe you.
What is interesting is ,the authorities in Iran have treated the 15 with human dignity . No torture. No murder.No sick sex porno acts for photo shoots. No beatings with individuals on their knees,blindfolded and gagged.
Maybe, just maybe, you and your guys could learn a thing or two.
Meanwhile you remain the worlds ´nastiest ,most evil and despised man . What an honour !
